Subject:                                     Aviation Club, Monday, Nov. 19th, 3:15pm, Social Center

Hello, Aviation Enthusiasts,

This is my monthly reminder that our Aviation Club will be meeting next week on Monday, Nov. 19th at 3:15pm in the Social Center. Note that this is an unusual day and time due to Thanksgiving.

I really hope you can come because I think it will be a very interesting meeting. Kelly McJoynt (Lt. Col., retired, US Air Force) has a great deal of expertise in space. His series of careers have included being the Launch Leader of Space Shuttle (STS-70) which put a tracking satellite in orbit, Chief of Combat Operations directing all air and missile exercises in Qatar, Director of Operations for a Space Aggressor Squadron which trained for possible war in space, and Senior Program Manager of TENCAP which develops technologies for use in space war. He currently serves in the National Reconnaissance Office as the Operations Squadron leader for new space launch entrants such as SpaceX where he advises government commanders and operations directors during space launches.

You might also like to know that he was first overall in his Air Force flight training class! Very impressive!

So put it on your calendar and join us if you can. Everyone is welcome.

Warm regards,

Jo Klenk
