Hello, Aviation Friends,
This is just a reminder that our Aviation Club will be meeting tomorrow, Thursday, January 25th, 1:15-2:15pm in the Manatee Room.
We are honored to host retired Navy and NASA test pilot/instructor Ed Schneider. He served on active duty with the Navy for 15 years and was the youngest graduate from the Naval Test Pilot School at age 24. Schneider has over 7800 flight hours in 91 models of aircraft including the F-4 Phantom fighter/bomber (as program manager and test pilot), the SR-71 (as a research pilot), the F-18 High Alpha Research Vehicle (for NASA as the first pilot in history to conduct multi-axis thrust vectored flight). He has received numerous honors and awards for his outstanding service such as NASA’s Distinguished Service Medal, the agency’s highest award. You won’t want to miss this very special meeting as Ed has amazing experiences to share with us. Everyone is welcome.
